September 7th Arcana Unleashed One Shot - Stolen Spirits

Starting September 7th, we are holding weekly Arcana Unleashed One Shots that will be a continuous story from week to week. Players can jump in and join at anytime, even if they miss a week. This series of One Shots are all tied to the new Arcana Unleashed book that is also coming out in September as well. Our first One Shot will be Stolen Sprits, and information about it and what players need to do before hand are listed below.

Adventure Background:

The Red Wizard Delia D’caryn is as ambitious as any 
other Thayan mage. Looking to rise within the ranks 
of the corrupt and power-hungry organization, she 
concocts a plan that harnesses the unique magic 
inherent to the land of Rashemen.

Rashemen is famous for its spirit magic, closely 
tied to the untamed land and the connected spirits. 
A group of special Rashemen wizards, known as 
vremyonni, are renowned for crafting powerful 
enchanted items using spirit magic.

Delia believes these enchanted items can grant 
the Red Wizards great power. She also thinks that 
by combining certain items into a single powerful 
artifact, she can lead a force to conquer the long
coveted Rashemen, which no other Red Wizard force 
has been able to vanquish.

The first step in her plan is to kidnap several 
vremyonni and compel each to craft a separate piece 
of this artifact. She also aims to sow large-scale chaos 
across Rashemen, forcing the magical leaders who 
hold Rashemi society together to focus inward rather 
than working to foil her plot.

A Harper agent named Simmia Dairn has 
connections to a network of Thayan insurgents. 
Simmia hears rumors that an attack on Immilmar, the 
capital of Rashemen, may be imminent, so she sends 
one or more groups of heroes to investigate.

Player Information:

Session starts at 6:00pm. Ends at around 9:30pm-10pm.

Characters for This Season
For the Celebration Event, players should create a
level 3 character using the Player’s Handbook and
Arcana Unleashed. Or can use one of the premade character sheets that will be provided as well. The following additional
guidelines apply to these characters:
• Ability scores are generated using either the
Standard Array or Point Cost options detailed in
chapter 2 of the Player’s Handbook.
• Each time a character gains a level after level 1, their
Hit Point maximum increases according to the Fixed
Hit Points by Class table in chapter 2 of the Player’s
Handbook.
• Characters begin with their normal starting
equipment plus one Common magic item of their
choice from chapter 7 of the Dungeon Master’s
Guide. Alternatively, they can select a Potion of
Healing from the Player’s Handbook.
