November 2nd Faster, Purple Worm! One Shot - Everybody Dies in the Eye of the Beholder
This encounter takes place in the legendary city of Waterdeep in the Forgotten Realms. The characters play aspiring members of the Zhentarim who must prove themselves worthy by executing a daring heist.
Background
The Zhentarim and the Xanathar Guild have long battled for control of the seedy underbelly of Waterdeep. Davil Starsong, a leading figure in the Zhentarim organization, has a plan to strike at his rivals on the night of Fey Day, an occasion of much drinking, singing, and dancing in Waterdeep. Key to his plan is a daring heist at the beholder’s secret club in the Dock Ward—but he’ll need a brave group of adventurers to pull it off.
All the characters are aspiring members of the Zhentarim. Also known as the Black Network, the Zhentarim is a mercenary company that has achieved great success in the trade of both legal and contraband goods and services. To secure a place in their ranks, a recruit must display skill, cunning, and a distinct lack of moral compunctions.
